Haircuts at Whitney's

I called today at 11 and was told they take walk-ins. I arrived about 10 minutes later and was in a chair in less than five minutes. My haircut was done by Josie, and she was fantastic. She was experienced, shared a bit about the salon, and talked through shampoos and other services. The cut was exactly the length and style I requested, and she made sure to let me feel the hair and view it from different angles before finishing. I was out by 11:50 and made it to my next appointment right on time. The salon was clean with a soft, welcoming environment. I will definitely be back.

I would recommend Caseadra to anyone looking for an amazing and affordable haircut in the BCS area. Not only did she give me a great haircut, but she was also incredibly welcoming and easy to talk to, I felt right at home from the moment I sat down. I came in unsure of exactly what I wanted, and she guided me through the entire process. She explained what she was doing step by step and regularly checked in to make sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing. Thanks to her, I ended up with a haircut I love. I will definitely be returning and look forward to paying her another visit!

I’ve been hesitant to write this review, but I’m just too upset with how my hair turned out. I went in to Haircuts at Whitney’s wanting a very, very simple thing: about three inches off with some layering. This was my second time going there. A lady named Kelli- who I will add was very kind- did my hair (I had her last time as well. It was a little choppy but not bad enough to really notice). She cut it about an inch and a half shorter than what I asked for. That part was upsetting but not a huge deal. However, when she layered my hair, she cut the entire front right side incredibly short. Instead of just doing the front pieces shorter, my hair was cut from the front to about 3/4 of the way to the back of my head. So now it’s not “layered”, it’s just cut very oddly across and doesn’t match

I went in for a haircut on April 19, 2025, expecting a simple trim. I had long, beautiful hair that I loved, and I specifically told Kika I only wanted an inch or two taken off to clean up the ends and a few very long layers. My exact words were "KEEP THE LENGTH." Instead, she chopped off at least 8 inches, completely ignoring what I asked for. She started my shortest layers at 6 inches.To make things worse, the style she gave me is just awful—uneven, choppy layers that look nothing like what I wanted and don’t suit my hair at all. I ended up with a full on shag cut. I left the appointment in tears, heartbroken over losing so much of my hair and stuck with a cut I hate. **DO NOT GO TO MARY MURAS. Let me preface this by saying that the rating I’m leaving is a reflection of Whitney and Celene, not Mary. I booked with Mary on 03/25/25 to get a partial balayage done on my hair. This was my first time getting my hair done professionally. She assured me we did not need to do a consultation because it would be an “easy process”. When I initially left the salon, I thought my hair was pretty because it was curled and styled. However, once I was able to take a look at my hair without styling, I realized that I ended up with chunky highlights all the way up to poorly blended roots, nothing like what we agreed to do over text and definitely not a balayage.
