Haircut Shop

I've been going here for years. I walk in as usual past her sign that says "walk ins welcome" and sit down, the only person waiting. I'm ignored for 5 minutes as Guylene talks to a friend. Finally, she looks at me and loudly announces, "I'm on lunch break. If you come back on Wednesday (5 days away) I can see you then." Sorry to bother you, Guylene, it won't happen again. Not recommended.

Guylean is great with kids! Other parents at his school were saying good things about her and she did not disappoint!

Are you tired of going to one of those Chain Chop Shops where you'll get your mop remodeled by a green-haired, Beauty School graduate just back from Grad Night at Disneyland??? And afterwards, you were afraid to look in the mirror??? I was. So when a friend suggested I check out The Haircut Shop in Downtown A-Town, I figured I only had the last of my sanity to lose. I'm so glad I did. It had been years since I had a Professional cut my hair. Guylene is Experienced, Professional, Entertaining and a good listener. It's a comfortable shop and an enjoyable visit, every trip. But the main thing...I don't have to wear a baseball cap for 2 weeks. This is a great place to get your shaped and cut!

I have been getting my hair cut at the Haircut Shop since April of 2005. It is always enjoyable. If there is a wait it’s always nice meeting new people and having conversation.

Always very friendly and remembers how I like my hair, and has very reasonable prices. I just stopped in their new location and it is very well appointed. I don;t provide recommendations often, but this is my favorite place in the county to get my hair cut.
