Visited Hair Works in Monrovia just yesterday. The new salon is beautiful and trendy with a hometown feel. Perfect! I originally tried to book online with Kim but she immediately called to let me know that was for her older salon and she wouldn't be available in Monrovia on that day. She immediately and very graciously asked Alexis to book me instead and I received a confirmation directly. The staff are all independent, and from what I can tell, use their own preferred booking links/system. In fact, that would be the only suggestion for the future is to have one booking link with a drop down list of names or at least links to each staff member to make booking easier. I had an appointment today with Chandler and it was one of the best hair appointments I’ve ever had. I was extremely nervous going into it because I’ve had some pretty terrible haircuts in the past from various places. She immediately made me feel confident and comfortable. She went over what exactly I wanted and made sure to ask questions throughout. The wash was an amazing experience and she even gave me a little massage. The salon itself is beautiful and a very cozy environment. I cannot recommend them enough. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family where to get the best haircut. Wonderful rustic and stylish new salon! I booked last minute before vacation and the Owner Kim cut and styled my hair exactly as I wanted! She is so sweet, I asked questions about my hair type and she was so informative and offered suggestions on how to achieve my hair goals, I will be back!

The salon is beautiful, and a welcoming atmosphere. My service with Kim was great. I received a hair treatment and cut. I hadn’t been for a professional cut in 2 years, and my hair is feeling so healthy and soft now! Will definitely be back!
