Claudia was a very sweet woman. She did a great job on the cut itself, the layers are good and my hair feels healthy. The reason for the 2 stars is because this is not the haircut I asked for. She went 3-4 inches shorter than what I had asked for. I can understand a 1-2 inch variance, but this is a literal Bob now. I could tell she even realized she went too short, because at the end she said “it’s a bit short” and I acknowledged back that it was really short. I didn’t realize how short she was going until it was too late, because once a cut it made, you can’t do anything about it. I’m trying to stay positive because again, it’s not a bad haircut. This is the BEST place to get your hair care needs met. Claudia is simply awesome! I have known her since 2005 and had moved away from the area. I finally got a chance to see her last month when I was in the area. Her drive, dedication, passion, commitment to each of her client is top notch and hasn’t changed at all. When you go there, please plan on spending a long time because your hair will thank you and Claudia will never rush you through the process. You come back feeling so pampered and care for. My wife and I came here on a Saturday (3/6) for the first time and were very happy with our haircuts! We will be coming here again! The owner, Claudia, is very friendly and very experienced (20+ years). She speaks Korean, Spanish and Portuguese fluently! Her English isn’t that great, so if you don’t speak any of the other languages listed you may have to spend some extra time explaining to her what you want - bringing a photo of what you’re aiming for will be very helpful. I’ve been going to barbershops for 10 years, so this was a change for me. I was very surprised! Her specialty isn’t in giving fades/skin fades, but she does a great job blending - especially with long hair (mine was past my ears and eyebrows). I've been getting my hair cut by Claudia for years. She recently moved to this location. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who is naturally as good at cutting hair as her, with decades of experience, and has prices as fair as her. I highly recommend you check her out, male or female.
