Hair Rebels

For a guy who has never paid much for haircuts, Hair Rebels is a very fair price. Ive gotten a good cut every time, it is quick, and there has never been much waiting. I like the people that work there. I obviously call and schedule an appointment, it seems they are generally booked so I dont think you can just walk in.

I've had hair cuts in a few different places in Philly and this place does them very well. I like the level of detail spent during my visits. The price is fairly high at $35 for a simple cut (no wash or shave), otherwise I'd give a 5 star rating.

I stopped by as a walk-in, as I work in the area. The women have created a relaxed and homey atmosphere. Aminah, who cut my hair, took time to ask me about myself before making some excellent suggestions. THe cut was great, and really can't be beat for the price. I'd highly recommend them!

I recently moved into Philadelphia and was experiencing the inevitable panic over where I'm going to go to cut my hair. I've never really stuck with any place I've been to and haven't seen a true correlation between cost and satisfaction. Fortunately for me, though, I stumbled upon Hair Rebels just by walking around in my neighborhood. It's a small place with cheap prices but the quality was great. Aminah was very personable and listened to everything I said and I finally walked away with the haircut I've always been wanting. I'm definitely going to become a regular.

I have lived in fairmount for 3 years and have been looking for a simple place to get a high quality low price hair cut. Two young girls are owner/operators of the salon/barbershop. I highly recommend their small business. They provide a quality service. I have been their twice and I plan on returning.
