Hair Pluss

I have been coming here for more than two years now, and Jessica is positively amazing! She has an index card of how she cuts my hair and the colors I like (originally black, we transitioned to an auburn-red color that suits me far better - she even has the “recipe” for “my” color on the index card). She is so flexible with my ever-changing work schedule and creates an incredibly pleasant and comfortable experience for me every single time I’m there. Besides that, she always has recommendations for Aveda products (shampoos, conditioners, clay, and gel) that would suit my hairstyle and color. And contrary to what the previous reviewer suggested, they are *very* capable of cutting men’s hair! In addition, Anna - the manager - is always so sweet and friendly every time I’m there. After the recommendation from a friend, I took our toddler and preschooler to Susan for their first salon haircuts. She did an outstanding job: the cuts turned out great, but more importantly, Susan made both kids feel safe and respected. She followed their cues to ensure that their experience was sensory-friendly and positive. I can't wait to return.

I’ve been seeing Tina now for about 2 years and I’m still happy every time I leave hair pluss! If you are a short hair girly like myself, she is SO understanding and would NEVER give you a haircut that made it look thinner than it is. I always require direction when going to a hair salon and Tina’s advice on how to cut my hair to look its best has never let me down! Highly recommend!

I’ve been going here for over 15 years and they treat me like family. The haircuts I get from Susan are always exactly what I want (with her creative help) and Anna at the front desk is awesome. Thank you all for accommodating me given my mobility challenges. You’re the best!
