The team is so nice and I get compliments on my hair. Erin does a fabulous job for me. There are four booths and it is a nice cozy and friendly atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. Friendly, knowledgeable team that always make me feel welcome. And yes, they know hair! There is parking in front on the East Main Street side and parking in back which allows for easy access with no steps. Access the back parking through the side street.

I moved to Spartanburg in 2006 and no longer remember how I found Hair It Is, but I'm glad I did. It's the friendliest, most welcoming, most unassuming salon I've ever used. Vicki, Erin, Robbie and Angela are experienced professionals who are fantastic at what they do and they care about their clients. They listen to what you ask for and will try new things or provide a perfect cut, healthy color and an amazing blow out. Can't say enough good things about this place or these women.

On Wednesday, I called in and scheduled a blowout for Saturday when I was having family photos. On the call, she asked me to describe what do I wanted. I said I wanted my hair washed then blow dried and smoothed with product and a round brush and then I'd like waves or loose curls added. I asked her the price and she told me and that was it. I arrived at 11 on Saturday ready to get my hair done. When I was there she asked me again what I wanted and told me she can get my hair straight, but she can't use a round brush and she can't curl my hair because her hands hurt. So, I had to rush to the store and buy a few hair products and go home and do my hair. This put me in a very stressful situation. I was an hour behind schedule and I am not the greatest at hair and it left me feeling not very

My favorite salon in the upstate. Saylor is the best! Literally the sweetest, very professional, she makes you feel very comfortable! The whole atmosphere is very cozy and super friendly. The best Southern hospitality vibes all around. 10/10!!

Despite being short staffed for the day, they were able to accommodate me for my appointment time. Saylor was very sweet. She did an amazing job and was very knowledgeable about maintaining healthy hair!
