A lovely salon on Elmwood that turned out to be a hidden gem. It's a clean, modern salon with experienced and kind stylists. After living in Buffalo for more than 2 years, I struggled to find a salon I was comfortable going to regularly. But I've definitely found that in Hair it Is. :)

I came in with natural hair that haven’t been trimmed cut or styled in 10 years! Mena is 🔥🔥🔥everything from shampooing to color to conversation! Was very Professional!!! I can’t see myself going anywhere else .

On (3/22/22) I went to “Hair it is” for the first time. My stylist was Yolanda. Let me explain my experience in detail. 1. Attitude: As soon as I sat in Yolandas chair, she gave me attitude .. she said “you were calling us and we weren’t here yet… we are a place of business of course we answer the phone. If no one answers that means we aren’t here yet” (she said this with attitude.) —Well excuse me. Google says you guys are open at 8am. It was 9:30 when I called. (And I only called twice.) Change you hours on Google instead of giving me attitude. 2. Incorrect Style: Yolanda kept asking to see a picture of the style I wanted. I should’ve known that her constantly asking for a picture meant she didn’t know how to do the style. I wanted a curly pixie cut. Instead I walked out with a une
