Hair Etc

I was left a bleach spot on my hair. I asked for full color black and a little bit of purple underneath. The lady said she has experience with natural hair colors not crazy colors. But when she put the purple in with foils, there was an inch of bleach blonde. I couldn't take a good photo myself. She did awesome on the black and the cut. Nice lady for sure. I would maybe go again but not for any crazy colors added to my hair. She also cut it a few inches for me. Costed $150. But I have hair down to my waist.

This is a super fun place to go if you need hair care. After trying to get an appointment at 5 other establishments nearby and being turned down Hair Etc. actually lived up to their “walk-ins welcome” sign and I’m so glad they did because it was a very special experience! They were ready and able to accommodate many customers, with an atmosphere of eclectic vintage beauty, and barber shop that really has you in awe the whole time your there! They offer hair and Etc…so many services and a very positive staff has made this my new favorite spot. They worked with my hair and my shifting taste so well and were very kind and accommodating to my daughter who was by my side with a complementary lollipop.

This has been the most horrific experience of my entire life. Bethany ruined my healthy, beautiful hair and this damage will take over a year to recover. I came in for a perm and Bethany acted confident in what she was doing so I booked the appointment with her. I came out of the salon with damaged, stringy hair that was not curly. I thought maybe I have to wait so I waited an entire day but realized very quickly something was wrong. I came back for her to “fix” it thinking the least she can do is repair the damaged she has done. She told me she will give me a “baby trim” to help cut off some of the damage. She took nearly 3 inches off as you can see in the photos. My hair is not only damaged now from her incompetence to know how to do a proper perm, it is now chopped up as if a toddler ra

The staff were good. Before my hair cut I showed the picture and design and emphasized many times the same like picture they lady she did hair cut said yes I can do after she performed hair cut even 1% it doesn’t match to the style I selected it dose not look that I did hair cut even when I came home every one said which kind of hair cut is this and also the towel was very dirty. I will not go there again.

Went and got a perm done here 7/29/25, i wish i would have listened to the lady that i asked advice from instead of the lady that actually did my hair cuz the ending result was just mushy unmanageable gross gummy feeling hair , because I have bleach on my hair from about 10 months ago, I wish I would’ve listened to the lady that warned me. It was not going to be a good idea.. But instead, I listened to the hairstylist that talked, me into doing it i don’t remember the ladys name that did it … when I left the hair salon, I could literally sit and pull my hair out in the park lot, it was like basically falling out of my hair.. It was so Gummy…. And she just let me leave The hair salon with this unmanageable gummy texture hair… played it off like it was “so adorable” AND IT WAS DRIPPING SOPP
