UPDATE TO THIS POST BELOW: Simply put, Mo, from Hair Essence, made me love my hair again! Thank you Mo!! UPDATE: Extremely unprofessional after my second appointment. She set up my appointment according to HER schedule. I accepted the appointment. The day and time of the appointment, I showed up. The shop was completely closed. I called the shop but obviously no one answered. I wanted for 30 minutes mind you it's a 30 minute drive for me to get to the shop. I messaged her on Instagram and still no response. I called at 2:30 the next day. When she comes to the phone I ask her did she forget something and she immediately said no. And told me she tried to call me twice to reschedule. This was a lie. Love this place! Mo has been taking care of my hair for years and she is so passionate about the health of your hair and making sure you look beautiful! Plus she is a fashionista who can give incredible tips on looking your best when you step out 😍

Had an appt scheduled for 9am with Mo even received a text reminder the day before. Got to the salon at my appt time and there was no one there and the lights were off. Called the salon number multiple times and waited almost a half hour then finally left. Very unprofessional when the salon is advertised on Google to open at 9am anyway.

I went to Hair Essence Salon the other day and it was nothing but amazing. When I first walked in I noticed the salon was big, clean and had a great vibe. I was immediately greeted by one of the hairstylists, Jackie. She was super sweet and gave me directions before waiting for my hairstylist. My appointment was with Mo. Mo is absolutely amazing and did a wonderful job on my hair. I went in for a silk press. Mo does not just go through the motions with your hair, but actually educates you on your hair and the products to use. She walked me through the process and kept me informed with everything she was doing with my hair. To be honest, I really appreciated the customer service. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone and I will definitely return in the future. Thank you :)
