Hair Destruction

honestly, i was super nervous going into the salon because i haven’t had my hair done in forever. i’m also very visibly queer so i’m very used to people being uncomfortable with my presence. however, my experience with vikki was the complete opposite. she was very warm and asked me questions about what i wanted instead of just doing what she thought would have suited me. i felt so seen and respected the whole time, which, though might be the bare minimum for most non-queer folks, is huge for me. i also have wavy hair (2a-2c gang rise up lol) and instead of trying to force it straight, she embraced my texture! she washed my hair,applied conditioner, and used a diffuser to make my waves pop. she was also very kind to give me a tutorial on how to style it myself so i can recreate the look at

I got my haircut with Vikki and had such a great experience! I came in with super long hair to donate, and she made the big chop feel easy and exciting. She listened to what I wanted, gave me a fresh style with the wash and blow-dry included, and was so nice to chat with the whole time. I left feeling lighter, refreshed, and really happy with my new look!

I’m always impressed with Jesse. His cuts are so pristine and edgy and he warmth and inviting nature makes me feel at ease in his chair. This salons decor is absolutely awesome and I’m always offered a water or an espresso so it comes with perks. I highly recommend this salon.

Vikki has been cutting my daughter's curly hair for a couple of years now, and not only does she do an amazing job, she is generous with her guidance and recommendations, and just a lovely person. And the new salon is such a cool spot!
