Let me first say that I like the haircut I received. It was a standard men's short haircut. The problem unfortunately is the pricing. $70 is just too high for the service offered. I've had numerous haircuts in Chicago and I've come to expect the average men's cut is around $35 to $40. The place I used to go to charged $40 and the service would include shaving your neck with a straight razor and warm foam, and receiving a warm towel wrap at the end. It's little touches like that that makes a person feel good about the the haircut they receive. Hair Design International didn't offer any of those extras and they charged me nearly double. Again, the cut was good, it just wasn't good enough to warrant the $70 fee.
