Hair Cuttery

Robin is absolutely amazing. I bring an elderly friend to her and she is kind and gentle. She has shaped my fiends hair so it stays nicely styled between visits. I highly recommend her as a stylist.

I called ahead to see if they would be able to cut my 20 month old's hair, online it had said hair cuttery was "good for kids." The person who answered the phone said "it depends on the kid." I appreciated the honesty and said okay, my son and I will be in later. We arrived and two people were at the front desk, one woman with reddish hair and one with dark hair (this was the one previously on the phone with me, I could tell due to her voice). The woman with the red hair nicely greeted me and explained they were pretty booked but offered me the next available time. She then turned to the woman with dark hair and asked if she would like to take my appointment, the woman looked at her and said "no." Young was by far one of the best stylists I’ve had at Hair Cuttery over many years of cuts/styles. She was friendly and social. My eyebrows look better than they have in months and she cut my hair beautifully (I had super long hair and went very short and she nailed it!).

The atmosphere was very positive. I was a little nervous at first considering I have curl hair but Alexis was amazing. I plan on sending my sister soon her way for a haircut.

This was my first time visiting Hair Cuttery, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I called ahead to let them know I was on my way, even though I would be arriving about 20 minutes before closing. They informed me that since it was close to closing time, they wouldn’t be able to do a hair wash, only a water spray and cut — which I agreed to. However, when I got there, the stylist didn’t even spray my hair. She cut it completely dry. When I asked her to use water, she said she could manage without it. I specifically asked her not to reduce the length too much, and she said she’d only take off 4 inches — but she ended up cutting off way more than that. I had long hair, and she chopped most of it off. She didn’t use scissors properly either — she used a razor to speed thing
