Hair Cuttery Color & Haircuts - Glen Ellyn

I have had plenty of Hair Stylists burn me in the past. They have chopped my hair shorter than I wanted. It had been years before I let anyone touch my hair again. I'm so glad I found Jess!! She is very patient and never disappoints. We will discuss a certain length and I'm always pleased with the outcome. Scheduling has never been an issue. She is very knowledgeable with products and always seems to point me in the right direction with my color questions. Thank you so much for all you do!! My hair is so shiny and feels so healthy! I had a work event that I scheduled to have my hair done for. I’m capable of doing my hair on my own but with how stressful this season has been I thought that by scheduling to have it done it would give me one less thing to have to do before our party. My party was at 6 so I scheduled a 2:15 appointment for an ‘updo’ which really only a partial updo since I only wanted a little bit pinned back. I checked the website which said to come with clean dry hair—which I did, clean, dry, with no product. I should have left when I got checked in, I could immediately tell that was I was stuck with a new stylist—she took the photo I showed her over to a senior stylist who was then walking her through how to do it including how to hold the curling iron. First time for me at this location and waited only 10 minutes for haircut, no appointment. Carly was awesome! Showed her a picture, discussed face shape and a beautiful new me left Hair Cuttery 45 minutes later.

Very unhappy with my hair. Cut way more off than I asked. Went in with platinum blonde pretty hair, asking for a full foil low light (which is what I booked) to make it a darker blonde, and I came out with DARK BROWN hair and zebra stripped chunky blonde highlights. I have never been so disappointed with a service. On top of that, they have had to re schedule my appointments twice due to people not showing up for their shift. I do NOT recommend this hair cuttery. I will never go back.
