Hair Cuttery Color & Haircuts - Galesburg

Katie did amazing. Just cut some a couple weeks ago. Now I had her take more off the length and added more layers. Love it. I am very glad she did not cut too much too fast. I appreciate that she worked with me on adjusting to the cut. I was scared since I haven't had it cut at a beauty shop in 35 years.. thank you Katie.

Jodi did an excellent job on my haircut. She was professional, efficient, and clearly knows what she’s doing. I explained what I wanted, and she delivered exactly that—no guesswork, no surprises. The cut was clean, well-balanced, and easy to style afterward. I appreciate the attention to detail and the overall experience. I’d absolutely recommend Jodi and will be back.

I went in with probably a pretty odd request of a female-mullet with like wolf-cut vibes. The stylist seemed to understand what I meant, verified what areas I wanted what lengths, how they would be blended together, and explained what she was doing at various points as she cut. It ended up looking great!! They definitely know what they are doing over there. I forgot to ask the stylists name again before I left but she was a blond woman. She did a very good job!!

Jodi has been a delight! She is always so kind, professional, patient, and listens to you when you want something. She’s extremely knowledgeable about hair care, hair trends, and hair health. Every time I come in for an appointment she goes above and beyond to make sure I leave happy with the results! Katie has also been such a kind lady who also goes above and beyond providing excellent care, professionalism, and kindness. Both ladies have provided me with top tier excellence and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! Thanks ladies!

I usually just go for a haircut because I can never get a good style. I was overdue for a cut and I asked for layers and stated I was ok with about 3” cut. The stylist who cut my hair cut at least 8” and butchered my hair. My front layers are longer than my shortest top layer. I’m never setting foot at a Hair Cuttery again. I’m typing this crying. When I said “wow these are short!” She said “it’s not that short; it’s healthy.” I don’t think this is a skill issue, it is a listening issue as she did what she wanted. I should’ve stopped her and maybe I wouldn’t regret going to this appointment. Never again. I’ll have to find another salon.
