Hair Cuttery Color & Haircuts - Buffalo Grove

I’ve been coming to this hair Cuttery once every couple weeks for the last few months now, and it’s been ok. I cam in yesterday to get a shampoo and blowout, and left the salon absolutely furious. Not only was the chair I was sitting in covered in hair, from the previous client, but I was also hit in the face more times than I could count. Hands, hair tools, you name it. I was getting visibly angry. When the blowdry was finished, I was shocked. My hair was flat, parted to the side and curled out at the ends like I was a 60’s tv character. I asked the stylist to part it down the middle and she messily combed a middle part. I left the salon, got in my car and realized there was no way I was paying for a service that left me not just unsatisfied but genuinely furious. I walked right back in,

Annie is amazing with kids! She also gave me a great cut but look at the spider web she did for my 9yo! She is such a gem!

This was my first time trying the Hair Cuttery in Buffalo Grove. Terrible. Just terrible. I booked appointment for 1.22.25 @ 2pm for color services online and they assigned me Tina. They called me less than an hour before my scheduled appointment to cancel saying they don’t do coloring and Tina is NOT QUALIFIED to do it. Plus they said they have ZERO AVAILABILITY for another stylist to perform the job. What the?? The kicker was they “recommended to try a competitor and go elsewhere.” Yep. What business says that to a potential customer. Is this how they treat first time customers? Lost my trust and business forever. I don’t recommend it.

Very happy with this salon and stylist Nicole. I am from out of state and able to get a next day appointment for my granddaughter's senior pictures. Nicole listened and gave her long straight hair exactly the waves she wanted. The style lasted perfectly and the photos were stunning!

Carri’s is awesome. She did exactly what I needed even though I may not have expressed myself clearly.. I hope you will keep her because I will ask for her every time.
