Hair by Sunny

This is my first time visiting Sunny and she was wonderful!!! She is very skilled and knowledgeable, taking extra time out of her day to make sure my hair turned out how I wanted it. My hair was rough, dry and damaged. The whole service she thought and talked about my hair health which I really loved. Sunny went the extra mile for me and I’m in obsessed with my new hair. I will 100% be coming back!! *** To also highlight Sunny’s hard work: for the past 2 years~ish, I’ve had hot heads tape ins and Joico lumishine youth lock in 4nn. I wanted long dark hair 😆 The only thing I’ve never had… but it wasn’t healthy. Anyway!! Permanent color isn’t easy to remove and Sunny took it head on. Sunny stayed late and fed me lunch/dinner. Sunny was incredible with my fine thin hair! We talked, she gave suggestions, and I got the best haircut I've ever had. She truly understands fine thin hair and made my hair look nice and healthy. I trust her completely with my cut and will be back. Hard to find someone so good!

I just had my first appointment with Sunny and I couldn’t be happier with the cut she gave me. She helped advise what the best style would be for my face shape and revitalized the texture of my hair. She’s incredibly nice and personable and makes sure you have an enjoyable experience. I’m sure I’ll be a repeat customer.

Altough Sunny is a very kind and genuine person, I do feel that this review is necessary to warn others. I previosly had a straight perm with Sunny about a year ago and didn't have any major issues. However, I had a haircut and a blowdry with Sunny about a month ago and my hair is a complete disaster. I tried to force myself to like it and give her the benefit of the doubt. But I cry even seeing what's been done to my hair. I asked her to cut my hair from collarbone length to just above the shoulder, with some layering. She completely botched my hair to the point of absolute ruin. The layers were cut so unevenly on both sides of my head, that I had to cut so many extra long pieces as soon as I got home. This is my second time getting my hair done with Sunny and it was absolutely wonderful! Sunny is so pleasant, friendly, and gentle. She nailed my vision of a layered, razor cut and made it come true so perfectly. I feel like she really paid attention to the details and was meticulous with the blow drying/styling to make my hair look truly great. I like that there was a peaceful silence as Sunny was working on my hair but we also had good conversation in between. I love Sunny and the new salon space is so clean and beautiful!
