Hair By Shelsea

I went to Shelsea today for the first time, for cut and color and I cannot say enough good about her, the service I received and how GREAT my hair looks. I have to say that I was a bit nervous due to the fact that lately I have hands so many awful cuts and color. However, from the very beginning, Shelsea sat down with me and we discussed my hair. She made several recommendations and put me at ease. From the time I sat down, to the time I left she made me feel very comfortable. My hair looks great! I will definitely be going back!

Shelsea is the best colorist I have ever been to. We’ve moved a lot so I’ve had to change salons quite a bit. Shelsea is worth driving, no matter how far. I’d even take a plane 😆. She does the kind of work that when you leave people compliment you but they can’t even tell what to complement you on. Do you look well rested? Is your skin glowing? She has that ability to color your hair but make it look so natural and dimensional. I can space my visits out every three months even though I am going gray because she does such a good job with lived-in color. It almost seems like magic to me. I almost want to gate-keep her so she doesn’t book up. 😝 Seriously, I am very particular and she is the best.

Shelsea is the best of the best! Expect a thorough consultation on your first visit. She will ensure that she understands your hair vision and offer any advice or tips as well. Then Shelsea works her hair magic!! This is truly a full experience. You can trust that she has the knowledge and experience to make all your hair dreams come true!!!

Thank goodness for Shelsea’s patience with me! I am not a good communicator of what I want nor even know what would look good! Thankful she took the time to understand my lifestyle (ponytail on the daily) & lack of hair styling skills to give me a cut & color that will grow out nicely! I don’t curl my hair, ever, & the dimension she was able to get in my color really is the nicest (I think) I have ever seen my hair look! I haven’t had a compliment on my hair in an VERY long time and got one within minutes of leaving her salon! Although the most I have ever spent on hair/myself…it is worth every penny to have a welcoming environment where I really did feel relaxed & in the best hands!

I’m am so happy that Shelsea did my hair!! I’ve been to a lot of stylist over the years and she 100% nailed it!! She listened to what I was wanting to achieve and I wanted to make sure it all blended well. I didn’t want to have stripes of highlights. I knew when I watched the way she applied the color that she knew exactly what she was doing. I found someone that I could tell had all the passion in her job!! I would highly recommend Shelsea!
