Honestly I think this shop does amazing BRAIDS! Corn rolls they can hang it up. I went in for stitch braids and was given something else. The braids did NOT come close to the inspo picture provided. As I sit here not even a week after getting these taking the down. They started to lift off my head yall it’s just a mess! Again their page showcases BEAUTIFUL braids so I should have known not to get corn rolls ! But I try them so yall don’t have to stick to the braids

I should have read all the reviews in its entirety. Coming from a state we're finding braiders was very impossible and then moving here I wanted to support local braiders, I was truly disappointed. I do speak the language they were speaking and understood a lot of what every one of the ladies were saying,and it wasn't so nice. I booked an appointment for bomb twist and had one woman in my head who clearly did not know how to do bomb twist. The first twist/ row was awful and she said that if my hair extensions were black it would blend better. I understand, but you can still tuck the hair. It is possible. There's a technique for twists like these and I've done them on myself multiple times and it comes out great. You can't hide bad technique and then blame it on hair. There was a woman tha

My attempt at finding a salon on my commute home from work..I decided to give this salon a try after viewing their Instagram page. Mistake! I was frustrated and ready to leave soon after starting. Why bother explaining your likes and desired style, if the end result is different..I needed my hair done this evening. Sooo..I dealt with it.....I came home after my appt and had to recurl my my hair. (Before & After I recurled and trimmed). Crazy that she let me walk out like that. I asked for smedium...walked out with medium. I stopped the stylist 2x to ask her to not braid as thick. I don't like heavy braids. The owner then tells me smaller/tinier size braids won't look right curled ..For the whole salon to hear! 🤦🏽‍♀️..Well that's the way I prefer my braids. Thought I was the customer

I recently visited this salon and had a disappointing experience. It was my first time it is definitely my last. The stylist didn’t seem to listen to my preferences, and the hairstyle ended up feeling too tight and the parts were way too big. I ended up paying for the service and had to remove the hairstyle myself before seeking help elsewhere. I spoke with Nadine in Bowie, who listened to my concerns and was able to deliver a result that I’m happy with. I also felt the initial owner could have shown more effort in addressing the issue I’m hope they do a better job at enhancing their customer service and stylist communication. Until then, I’ll consider other options for my hair needs. You are better off taking your money somewhere else.

Hair by Dilis is amazing! They fit me in without an appointment, and my medium knotless braids were done beautifully in under 3 hours. My daughter’s small, waist-length braids took about 4 hours, and the braider was so gentle she fell asleep in the chair! Every style I saw come out of there was flawless! Definitely an awesome experience! We will be back!
