Hair and Nails By Shannon

Shannon is a top-notch hairstylist. For fifteen years, I went to a NYC salon before I moved to Maine. Shannon was as good if not better at cutting my very fine hair than any stylist in NY. My hair has body now (who knew it was wavy!) and she also gave my son, who has very curly hair, a cut he loves. The salon has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and I always look forward to going.

Shannon always has something to talk about. She's very passionate about what she has to say. I'll sit there, nod my head, and drink my beer (I bring it with me). I get a haircut and enjoy my time with her. If you ever want to relax, just ask for a shampoo (don't be afraid to ask her to make the water a little hotter). Those nails on your head are so relaxing 🫠 Google wants prices, but I have no idea 😂 I've never asked. I just give her money, and she's never said "that's not enough" Relaxing, fun atmosphere, highly recommended.

Shannon is a sketch! I only go for a cut & color. I only wish I could get a body waxing in addition.

Within 1 day of getting a gel manicure, all of my nails easily peeled right off. It was by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had. I’m from out of state and nothing was available on a Monday, so I had trusted these reviews I found online. However, please know that this is not a professional place to get your nails and toes done. I could have done this by myself, and I kicked myself after paying $80 after tip for the worst manicure of my life. Shannon is a nice lady and was friendly - but she is not a professional manicurist and should not falsely advertise as one. I really would like a refund for this manicure, but I don’t think that will happen. :( I never write negative google reviews but I just want out of state people to know the truth because I know I trust google rev

I gonna say she did awesome job great person to talk with and she did something different with my hair I ever did best hairstylist ever she way better than my hair store I have back home girl you need to open more places than there you are great at ur job
