She lost two clients, simply from being greedy. At first I thought this could be a new salon that my mom and I can regularly visit to get our hair done, but I was wrong. I simply needed a braid down for a wig. No install required just a simple wash and braid. A service that’s typically $35-$40 at any braiding salon. However, the owner thought it was fit for her to charge me $70, for a simple braid down. I inquired why it was so expensive as other salons would charge no more than $35? She then proceeded to give me an outrageous explanation of how 10 rows of cornrows range from $35-$50. She seriously just makes these prices out of her head. Owner is greedy. I called the day before and fully explained what i wanted and i was quoted 130-140 for two ponytails mind you but i was like okay . Got there and there was tons of comments on my bag (it’s a designer bag) including shady lil ones like “is it big enough ?” when it’s a obviously big bag . So i guess once i got there and she saw me and my bag she saw dollar signs because when i was getting ready to pay she told me 160 and then ducked behind the counter hoping I don’t press it and she was correct. Not gonna press it I will pay & never come again. I didn’t even wanna swipe my card in there & paid cash because you never know with greedy people like that and it’s unfortunate because I actually liked the girl who did my hair and would’ve been back . Such an amazing experience, the workers are very nice and ever since I started coming here my hair has grown healthier and stronger. The prices are also very reasonable.
