I had never grown a beard before and had two months of VERY basic grooming done on my end. It was starting to feel too bulky so I decided to have a professional trim my beard. He also did a great job of asking me my thoughts on what I'd like it to look like and took it from there. Steve did an awesome job! Me and my wife both live the neat and tidy look. I'll be back in a month or so!

Stood me up for a 10am haircut appointment with “Steven”. I showed up and place was closed. No attempt to contact me to let me know. Disappointing b/c not only did I schedule my day around this, but I also just moved nearby and was hoping this would be my new regular barbershop. Hard to look past a first impression like being ignored. Ironic that there’s a term/condition when booking that states there is a cancellation fee to be paid by customer. Where’s my cancellation fee?

I received a hair cut from lolo that was far beyond my expectations. He not only did an amazing job, I was unsure of what type of style I wanted to go with mainly because I’m getting older and my style is changing. Lolo said he take care of me and did just that, he gave me a bread style that really made the features on my face pop. The hair cut itself made my braids that I got done at another place and was very unimpressed with look actually good. He is a true hair artist and I would recommend anyone to go see him especially if your unsure how to make on a look. The heated towel massage was way more than words can describe. If I could give him 100 star review I honestly would I was so impressed. I will be returning with my son for the next one.

It appears most of these reviews are from when this business was called DeSanto's Men's Grooming. I'm sure this place is ok, but it hasn't been open very long, in this location. If anyone is looking for Steve Traweek, he's moved on to FinestCutz Barbershop. 9 Cumberland Street, Westbrook.

This is my new favorite place to get a haircut. They are very thorough and do a great job. I don't trust many places with my beard but I am glad I trusted Steve with it. The place feels very casual and very clean, I think anyone would feel comfortable going here. Prices are fair and you definitely get what you pay for. I will definitely be going back. Bonus points for their online scheduling system since it was very easy to use and easy to make changes if needed.
