A Heartfelt Thank You from a Grateful Single Dad I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience truly deserves to be shared. As a single dad, finding a place where my 12-year-old daughter feels safe and comfortable getting her hair done means everything to me. We had a horrible experience at a salon in the Bronx that left her in tears. It was so bad, she completely refused to go to any salon after that. She lost all trust in the process—and as her dad, that was really tough to see. Then one day while we were in the Woodhaven neighborhood, we happened to pass by this salon. Love love love! I have been coming to Michelle since September and I can absolutely say that she is one of the best, she takes her time and is very knowledgeable. She is not like other stylist that will push your hair to its limits. On my first appointment we went from complete brunette to a lovely ash blonde and she did it using a low volume of lightener in order to not damage my hair but still lighten as much as my hair could take. I will continue to go to her as well as continue to recommend my friends/fam to her.

I've been getting my family and I's haircuts here for around 13+ years now by her mother Guille. I never dyed my hair before due to a previous hair salon absolutely ruining it. After trusting Michelle with my hair, I absolutely love it. My hair is so shiny and so soft and it's healthy! Everytime I go, I always have such a great experience laughing and talking with her. She's wonderful, sweet and so easy to talk to. She makes sure to establish a personal relationship with her clients in order to ensure she can give you your perfect hairstyle.

I have been getting my hair done with Guille Barbershop for over 25 years. I have never had a bad job I have long blonde hair and she had been able to maintain the same color consistently. I would recommend anyone who values their hair to speak directly to the owner or her daughter, and inform them what you would like. They are extremely knowledgeable and can work on all types of hair. Additionally, Guille’s barbershop also does haircuts for men and has done my sons hair for over 18 years.
