Groove Nails Spa

Absolutely horrible experience. Do NOT go here. I came in wanting to try almond-shaped nails for the first time, and left with bleeding fingers, poorly done nails, and an overwhelming sense of disrespect. The nail tech (Kevin) filed my nails so aggressively that I started bleeding. The acrylics were not glued down properly — they were lifting, and the tips didn’t even fit my nail beds. The final result was crooked, uneven, and honestly embarrassing. I didn’t realize just how bad they looked until I was getting my pedicure — which was also disappointing (barely any massage, rushed service). I told Kevin I wasn’t happy with the nails and asked if it would be a lot of work to switch to square. He said yes, but reluctantly agreed to fix them. His attitude made it clear he didn’t want to. The tech seemed frustrated because I took my time deciding on a color which took 2 minutes. He then told me to sit at another table to wait for someone else to finish my nails. The next time I got gel nails and within a week I had to get three repairs. Twice on the same nail which cracked and came off. The tech did a poor job on my cuticles. Think it was so I would have to come back sooner. The underside of the nails had dry polish and rough edges. Thumbs down! Do not recommend this salon.

Groove Nails Spa — Disrespectful, Unprofessional, and a Complete Waste of Time (0 Stars if I Could) I had a terrible and extremely disrespectful experience at Groove Nails Spa. I came in with my daughter and they had no problem taking my money and providing services at first — they did my eyebrows, my pedicure, and both my daughter’s hands and feet. When it came time to do my hands, I asked for the most basic service possible: regular polish only no tips, no acrylic, no designs. At that point, they flat-out refused to do my nails. If they had an issue with servicing me, that should have been stated before starting anything not after completing multiple services and wasting my time. This place is the most immaculate beautiful salon I've ever been to. The attention to detail is amazing. You literally could eat off the floors. The place is spotless. The owner has really put her heart and soul into decorating and thinking out the layout of the place. Karen does a pedicure like no one else and she fits me in all the time on her schedule. She's so nice and accommodating! I'm not a person that enjoys a pedicure but if i'm gonna have one this is the place to do it!!

Walked in for a gel "manicure ". The male tech (unsure of his name) just started hacking away at my nails, never asking IF I even wanted them cut let alone how short. My nails were cut crooked, and filed unevenly. He never touched my cuticles. When doing the white tips on the french manicure he kept missing the side edges of my nails. Every nail. I kept telling him he needed to fill in every single side edge. After the clear gel coat was done and dry, he then took a hand file and FILED the sides of each nail! Now what I just had him redo needs to be redone a 3rd time. If this wasn't bad enough, it needed another clear coat again, which he applied over the DUST from pointlessly filing the sides of my nails. Since the sides were done so many different times at different points in the drying
