This was a great experience! I was in town to run errands and needed a solid place to get my son’s hair cut (he is 4) - he was rocking a high top and we were getting it all cut off in favor of a very low top fade - Luis had a gentle hand and was very patient and kind to my little. The cherry on top was the lite library in the shop! I had my girls with me so we sat and read books and got to take our favorites home. 10/10 would recommend!

When my son and I moved to Champaign, we struggled to find a good barber. Every place we tried kept pushing his lining back, which was frustrating. That all changed when we found Groom Culture Barbershop Champaign. My son sat in Malik’s chair for the first time and instantly loved the service. He always walks out smiling, confident, and happy with his cut. From that very first visit, my son decided Malik was his barber. Two years later, Malik is still our go-to. My son comes in with different styles and designs, and Malik always delivers, allowing his creativity to really shine. Malik is always on time. My favorite thing about him. His place is also very professional. I’m used to going places and people are loitering, and hanging out having adult conversation which is fine if it was an appointment for myself. But as a mom with young kids it’s not an environment I want my young kids in. His place is so clean. 10/10!

I’ve always done my beard myself. My kid, who gets his hair cut by Malik, convinced me to have him trim it up for me. Malik did a meticulous job and made it fit the shape of my face perfectly! Well worth it, I’ll keep coming back!
