Customer Reviews
As a person who finds it very difficult to relax/meditate, a float in the salt water tank was surprisingly deeply relaxing. When you walk in the place has a great vibe with cute little sand zen gardens, a sweet bookshelf and the nicest girl at the desk. It is very clean and well-kept. They offer other services I plan to try out as well. I would 100% do it again.
I had a truly remarkable healing experience here. I relaxed so deeply in the float-tank. My mind quieted. I found myself in a void free of all stress. I was weightless and free. I could feel my entire body relaxing and healing as I was suspended in this salt-saturated tank. You can bring a bathing suit and they will handle the rest! Very friendly staff. I love you, thank you again! They even have Virtual-Reality experiences. Great atmosphere and profound relaxing experience. Worth the $$$
Due to upstairs business, can be noisy as ppl walk up and down the stairs and through the sales floor. For this reason I'd recommend using the ear plugs not so much for keeping water out of your ears, but to help block out the sound if you want the full Sensory Deprivation experience.. Website lists a Massage Chair as part of the float package, but I was never offered the option. (Maybe you need to specifically ask for it?) The pod shown on the website photo is not the exact pod they use. Their pod is better! Overall, even with the things I've mentioned, I went from being outside my comfort zone my 1st visit, to wanting to go back 3 or 4 times a week if it wasn't as costly. (but, see it like an investment in your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. If you go on Groupon
While the accommodations are quaint, the float center really isn't about anything beyond the tank itself, which is quite an experience. Those disappointed by the "size" of the facility seem to be grumbling about the minute or two spent outside of the tank instead of the hour of relaxation spent inside of it. Edit* - New larger facility coming in 2018 according to owners!
I gifted my Dad a float here for Christmas. He said it was relaxing floating and did feel better that night afterwards although he wished the water was a tad warmer. However I was surprised to see it was in a basement.. basically in a closet. Even so, probably would go back again for another float.
