Great Clips

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. This was hands down the worst haircut I’ve ever received. It genuinely felt like the stylist had never worked with Afro hair before. There was no confidence, no technique, and absolutely no understanding of texture or shape. The cut was completely uneven — patches longer in some areas, crooked lines, and no proper blend. There was no lineup, no attention to detail, and zero finishing touches. On top of that, there was no face towel treatment, no aftershave, nothing that even remotely resembled professional barber service standards. The worst part? I had to fix my own hair as soon as I got home. That’s how bad it was. Even my four-year-old wouldn’t give me such an atrocious haircut. Waited a bit longer than their original estimate but they were patient and helpful while mom transferred from her mobility scooter to the chair and back again afterwards. She liked her cut and we even got a coupon for next time

I like Great Clips because they keep the price of a haircut down. And the people there are very personable. My only complaint would be is that they don't keep long hours--that is to say they close a few hours earlier than the other stores around them.

I went earlier today (9/14/24) to get a pixie cut. I show the lady who was cutting my hair a photo of what I wanted and said " This is exactly what I want" and she said " okay so a pixie cut" and gave me one that looked nothing like the one I wanted. She also kept looking away while she was cutting my hair. She kept giving my family weird looks because they were joking about them cutting my hair themselves. She cut it way to short and she cut it uneven. We didn't even realize how bad it was until hours after. I will be going in tomorrow to file a complaint in person.

It's a popularity in any store or franchise place on who likes you or not and what the motive they have at the time the staff. It's cold or its hot. I prefer having some female stylist cut my hair as the one guy is rough on the head with the clipper though almost no one wants or can hold a conversation. Except for being sized up when a stylist talks to you.
