Great Clips

I had a very disappointing experience at the Great Clips on Darrow Road I visited on 09/08/2025 at approximately 1.30 pm. I was getting a simple haircut and unfortunately, the results were not at all what I asked for. I showed the stylist(she was black lady),a photo and explained that I only wanted about an inch trimmed off the length. Instead, a significant amount of hair was cut, and the layers were so uneven that it was immediately noticeable. I felt like the stylist was rushing, and when I tried to point out the issue, they seemed to get defensive and just made a few quick snips without really fixing the problem. What a HORRIBLE haircut!!! ....One star is way to generous. My past two haircuts were wonderful. Had the same stylist cut both times. I tipped VERY generously too because I truly appreciate when a stylist does a good cut. (70% tip, which exceeds minimum wage) Third time...not even close!!! My haircut is a whack job and I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK. I let her know how bad it was and how very disappointed I am that the haircut I got brought me to tears. I also went back and got a refund. It's bad enough my hair is butchered I'll be damned if I am going to pay for it. Just BEWARE....

Took my kids there for an afternoon appointment. Both wanted a layered cut. Also felt very rushed as it was closing time for the staff. The cuts were hideous, seemed like they barely even got a trim. I didn't have a chance to check their cuts till we got home and realized their split ends were not even cut!!! Will never go back!

I spoke with the manager on Tuesday 10.23.2024. Lovely customer service voice. Said I could come in today Wednesday 10.24.24 she's there till 8pm. I came in today and the polar opposite of the lovely voice that was on the phone yesterday. The attitude from hoping I could get a bad haircut fixed was horrid. She searched my phone number and before trying it again. Said you have never been here. Weird try again because I was. She did pull up my account but after experiencing such a hostile service environment I was scared to let her touch my hair. I said never mind I'm just going to leave. I no longer trust you.
