Great Clips

Been going to Great Clips for decades Yes, decades. I can count on one hand the number of times I have not been happy with my hair cut. My last haircut was one of the best I have ever gotten. I also enjoyed talking to the hair stylist. Thank you Great Clips.

I really like going to Great Clips in St. John, and go to Ala to cut my hair. I went from a really long cut to a layered bob last year. She double checked I wanted to make the change, looked at the pictures of what I wanted and made a suggestion on the length/cut that would be most flattering on my face. I got a lot of compliments on the cut and have been going to her ever since. She’s quick and efficient and is friendly to talk to. I trust her to do a good job. Usually I don’t get it washed, dried or styled there- so it’s inexpensive and I wash and style it at home. (And sometimes you can find a coupon online) There’s the option to check in early on the app. Otherwise it’s walk-in, with not much of a wait. I will keep going back as long as Ala is there and it’s a nice space and location.

Claire is great, fast and efficient! She did my baby’s first haircut, gave us a piece of hair in a card and left us a cute little message! No wait time and scheduling an appointment was quick and easy.

The good: easy online check in, clean place and friendly staff, even with the few dollar price increase. The bad: 50/50 shot on getting even a good haircut. Missed neck trim, bangs and top completely. Let's see how fast you can get in/out. My most recent visit maybe 5mins. Future visits, try to remember who does a good job and request, wait if even possible or go somewhere else. I'll be cautious if I go back and just expect a 'quick cut' Update: Store manager reached out to me and went above and beyond to make things right ! Good to know if you are not pleased or feel things are not correct, they will fix it !
