I’m leaving this review on behalf of my mom who came on Thursday feb 6th afternoon time because she’s too nice to say anything.The other day she came in for a hair cut and the unprofessionalism that was experienced was INSANE including her not getting even close to a decent hair cut even though they had a thorough consultation before hand. My mother asked for a layered hair cut with curtain bangs and was very clear that she wanted longer curtain bangs. When I tell you the bangs were cut into regular SHORT and UNEVEN BANGS and wasn’t even close to the picture. My girlfriend is a hair dresser (and would’ve been the one to do it if we lived closer) and we all know that pictures are a reference and may not be spot on but for it to not even be the cut she asked for is crazy work. I went today and there was no wait. Hannah listened to what I wanted, looked at a picture I had and asked a few follow up questions to be sure she knew what I wanted I was so happy with her and the cut!! She talked about a couple of products, but was in no way pushy. When I decided on one, she showed me exactly how to use it. I am beyond pleased and have only had great cuts at the Southport location!

Wow, what an awful experience. Not sure the barber’s name cause she muttered and mumbled it. She was in her 60’s, chin length dark blue hair, and portly. Anyways, she absolutely butchered my hair. I want to cry. She took it MUCH shorter than requested. She even asked me if the length was good…then took another 3 inches off!! Why bother asking? I showed her an image and my hair is about that curly but she didn’t even leave enough hair for my hair to curl on its own. The back is uneven and choppy. Stay away from this so-called stylist! My hair versus the image I showed her.

I believe her name was Maria, if you get her, make sure you tell her EXACTLY how you want your cut at least twice! I wanted the graduated bob. I showed her a pic and told her I how like the long in the front look. She obviously didn't listen. I couldnt tell as much in the shop because is was still wet and my hair gets wavy when wet. Maybe hair stylist dont like you showing them pics? So disgusted. I had 8 inches of hair chopped off for this . 1st Pic is what I asked for. 😡🤬

I use to take my son here all the time and loved it! Everyone was so nice and did an excellent job. Today sept 15, 2025 at 4:40pm, I took my son here to get his hair cut, and the 2 lady’s that were working, were so rude! One of them was even being very rude to my daughter and was yelling at her. I’ve never seen that kind of behavior from anyone that worked there. Idk what happened to the nice staff they use to have but the 2 lady’s that were working today, were awful!
