I like check-in time policy where I can check and see the waiting time. It takes me less than 10 minutes to get there. When arriving , I see my name on the screen indicated I’m first I enjoy with varies clippers with cheerful smile and the pleasant conversation with each other. The only issue is that i go and get my hair cut once a month or longer. Added plus, I let receiving the yearly discount coupons for the varies months of the year. I am very disappointed by the service that was provided and if I could, I would rate this lower than one star. I came recently for a trim and expected to have an inch or two trimmed off but was unpleasantly surprised when 5 inches got cut off. The cut was unnecessarily large and I was gaslight into thinking that my hair was still long when it is now average or below average length. I had very long and healthy hair and I wanted to have a pleasant experience as this was one of the first times I went to a hair salon but this was something I did not expect. I am beyond disappointed and I suggest that anyone who wants to get a hair service not to go here. I had an outstanding experience at Great Clips in Village Square in San Jose. The hairstylist, Michelle, was very personable and professional. I truly enjoyed my conversation with her. And my haircut was the best ever! Thank you Michelle!

Lady here was super friendly and nice! They keep track of previous haircuts and know your preferences before you even sit down. Not too busy, and they are really good at making you feel comfortable. I used a coupon and it was only $15 for a simple men’s short haircut. 5 stars!

I recently visited Great Clips for haircuts for my two kids. The haircuts themselves were just ok. nothing exceptional, but decent enough. However, what really bothered me was the uncomfortable pressure around tipping. At checkout, it felt like tips were being expected rather than appreciated. I was asked directly to tips. When I tried to tip , I got a noticeable stare from the person handling the payment, which made the situation awkward and uncomfortable/ seems doesn’t like the how much I tipped them. I’ve been to many salons, and while tipping is always appreciated, I’ve never felt pressured like this before. Tipping should be based on service quality and should never feel forced. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider coming back. I hope they work on creating a more re
