Great Clips

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. Go somewhere else. Do not, whatever you do, go to the Great Clips on Blue Mound right by the Subway and across the street from Kroger. My ends have been damaged/dead for months, and I just needed my ends trimmed; I lost about 4 inches when I only needed approximately an inch, maybe an inch and a half off, and had to tell the lady to stop because my hair was so uneven and she just kept cutting. She repeatedly told me it was even and looked great. While I was there, another man walked in and was having problems with his hair being uneven on the sides as well. Cut by a different stylist than mine. The stylist cutting the man's hair (Karla) said that the stylist cutting my hair was Sarah, but it sounded like she pulled a name out of a hat, and I even said "real

When I walked in and talked with the hairstylist, she said that she has been cutting hair for almost 20 years. Admittedly, my hair is thick and can be difficult to cut, but I thought with that many years experience, I would be safe. Unfortunately, they could not even cut my hair in a straight line. I went back a second time asking them to fix it, which only made it worse. I should’ve returned (after I went to another stylist and got my hair fixed) and got my money back, but I was too upset. My guess is the majority of the customers are easy buzz cuts, so if that’s not what you’re looking for, you probably should go somewhere else.

No. Go somewhere else. I just got the WORST haircut I’ve had since my mom chose them. I literally only had 2 good haircuts since moving to TX, and this is, by far, the worst one. One side is an inch longer than the other side and the back is more than an inch shorter than the front. I guess I’ll learn to tilt my head as I walk around. The lady kept walking away while I was in the chair and forgetting where she was on the top. I asked for “a very light trim, no more than a 1/4 inch.” She hacked off 2 inches!

This is very scary!! You hope to get someone that can at least do a decent job with a basic haircut for my boys and this is what we got. One of my sons was almost bleeding from the back of his two ears!!! How is this even allowed!! It took me a while to realize how bad these haircuts were. This is unacceptable!!

I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. I told the stylist now I wanted my sons hair and she did a complete wack job and when I said something to her her argued with me. It was a simple fade and the front of his hair was completely crooked. She continued to argue with me and told me it was my fault his hair was messed up. The other lady that was there tried her best to fix it but she had done such a terrible job, it won’t be able to be fixed. This is how she left my sons hair and said she saw no problem with it.
