Great Clips

My grandson likes this place and I will tell you why! He gets what he wants and is treated like the little Prince that he is. Our favorite is Avery E. she is great with him. She is really an artist too, I will share a picture with you.

I was never a fan of Great Clips until I was inspired by the artistic hand and creative direction of Rebecca Ambrose. Her online presence has been really inspirational to me.

The past 2 times my husband and I came here for him to get a haircut the stylist asked too many personal questions. I understand wanting to pass time with a hair cut but please be mindful of the things you ask. Like asking about kids and how we’re lucky to not have them despite having a miscarriage and struggling with an infertility journey. I wish the questions were about hobbies, pets, New Year’s resolutions… anything that don’t cause us to be reminded of our struggles. Other than that the hair cut is good. Music playing was nice too.

Cheyenne and Avery ARE AMAZING YALLLLLLLLLL!!!!! Literally the best with my 3 boys !!! Both my younger boys have adhd and add and they had them sitting so calmly and even gave them lightening bolts THEY R SO HAPPY AND CANT WAIT TIL THEIR NEXT CUTS

I have contemplated for months about leaving a review. I’m not a review kinda gal. But the hair cut I received here was so terrible, all these months later, I still look in the mirror and cry. It’s too short to cut it to fix her mistake. So I have to live with it. And I won’t name names, but I just highly warn anyone away from stepping into great clips salon of Russellville. I have never received such a terrible haircut in my life and after my experience here, I will grow my hair out long enough to cut it myself for the rest of my life. I didn’t make a fuss with the salon, seemed like pointless drama, as I’m unwilling to chop it all off and there is no other way to fix it. but keep in mind, this is after even a few months of growth.
