I recently visited the Great Clips location in Norcross after noticing it while shopping at Publix. Despite the salon being busy with customers, the wait time was impressively short. While I waited, I observed one of the stylists handling a child’s haircut with remarkable patience and attention, even though the child was a bit fussy. As someone with curly hair—a challenge for many stylists—I felt fortunate to be paired with Sparkle. She immediately made me feel welcome. Sparkle was professional, skilled, and genuinely kind throughout my appointment, making me feel comfortable and valued as a client. This location has a serious professionalism problem, starting at the supervisor level. My son’s first visit was for a simple fade. He clearly explained that he wanted part of his hair left longer and that the cowlick/bang area should not be touched. Despite that, it was cut off. He decided to return weeks later to give the shop a fair second chance. When he came back, he calmly explained to the front desk what went wrong previously and asked what could be done. A manager was called over, who turned out to be the store supervisor, the same person who ended up cutting his hair. She asked what he wanted, and he explained very clearly that only a small section (about the size of a quarter) needed evening out, while the cowlick side should remain long. Instead, she ignored those instructions

Today I had the pleasure of having William take great care in trimming my hair. He offered good advice regarding the length and to have layers or not regarding my hair texture, density and my age. He is very professional and I definitely will see him again when I need my next trim!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Will for a couple of years, and I’ve now followed him to three different locations — that’s how good he is, and how much business he brings in. He just moved to this location, and I’m glad he did since it’s closer to me. Will is consistent, detail-oriented, and always takes the time to make sure the cut looks exactly the way I want.
