Great Clips

Without a doubt, the most uncomfortable situation, not even a hello, when I arrived. Only one question was demanded of me. "Did I make an online appointment?" I couldn't understand the young person asking...as I am not computer savvy.I just wanted a haircut. I decided to spend my money at a friendlier place. ☆"JONI'S"☆ AND IT WAS LESS EXPENSIVE♡♡♡

Usually I go to Tina and she does a great job. I guess she was off today, but I needed a haircut so I went in. Checked in online and it said there was 0 minute wait. Got there and waited about 10 minutes, I was first online. They finished a guys hair and then called a woman, who was after me on the check-in list. Turns out the guy they finished was her husband, and I would have been totally cool with them taking her in front of me, but at least let me know my wait will be even longer, or ask if I’m OK with letting her cut in front of me. After another 10 minutes one of the girls finishes up with a customer and then she goes in the back and disappears after ringing him up. Prices have gone up $5 in past 4 years but haircut quality has become so inconsistent. I get a good hair cut, go back to the same stylist weeks later and get a bad cut. I got a trim last week with same stylist and she rushed my cut like she was mad I came in just before her lunch break. Didn’t say ONE word to me while she hurriedly whacked away at my head with electric clippers at a frantic pace. It literally hurt my scalp! My hair is now jagged and even on top for $19 plus $5 tip. Yes…I still tipped because I’m a nice guy but I should’ve complained. I know it’s a cheap haircut but why can’t the staff care anyway?? Owner of this location should shake things up. Not going back to Powhatan location any time soon.

Friendly hair stylists. Every Veterans Day we buy a dozen haircuts @ reduced prices on a gift card. We add 5$ cash tip and save lots thru out the year.
