Great Clips

Great experiences here usually, especially with the younger girl with dark hair and glasses. She charges me a fairer rate for the simple dead ends only trim I usually get. I have curly hair and always strictly ask for just a trim without any or minimal length gone, things I’ve been directed by hairdressers to say before to emphasize my desired cut. Curly hair has a lot of shrinkage and mine already won’t grow past my shoulders anymore, so I want it as long as possible. However, last time I came a blonde woman took me. She was very friendly and quickly started talking to me about her extensions she had and not being able to manage them through a hard period of her life, etc. I’m glad she felt she could open up to me, but while she was talking a bunch she asked if I wanted face framing piece

I had an appointment at this Great Clips location scheduled just for a wash. When I arrived, I asked if they could add on a blow-dry so I don’t have to leave with wet hair, which I’ve done at this same location before. There were two hair stylists present. I was told no because they were “understaffed” and had other customers coming in and didn’t have time. That wasn't true, as the shop was completely empty the entire time I was there and I checked their online scheduling system and no one was booked for at least an hour. After I walked out, the staff sat down and started chatting with each other as if they had all the time in the world. All I needed was a blow dry. This felt like an excuse, not a staffing issue. I won’t be returning to this location.

DO NOT LET ANNETTE CUT YOUR HAIR!!! My boyfriend came in for a normal cut. A simple cut at that. No extra style or anything really. Annette messed his hair up so bad that another coworker that was off-shift asked if he was happy with his cut. When he said no she immediately led him back in to fix up. On the other hand Annette was giggling and chatting it up with another coworker that had noticed how bad the cut was as well. we love the woman that took the time to fix whatever was so funny to them.

I just moved to North Port. Heather gave me a haircut recently and it is the best haircut that I have received in a while from Great Clips. I look forward to having her cut my hair in the near future.

Janine cuts my grandsons hair and does such an amazing job with him. She is very patient and makes sure he feels comfortable before she cuts his hair. Definitely ask for Jasmine!
