Great Clips

Since it's not letting me leave two reviews, I had to do the average of the two stylists: Aarti: 5 stars. She's wonderful, professional, knowlegable and kind. She cut my son's hair extremely well and very neatly. She was quick too. I am so appreciative of her help. Lisette: 1 star (see below) My daughter, unfortunately, had to have her hair cut by Lisette. I don't know where to start. To begin with when we came in she said outright that she couldn't do my son's haircut (?) and said my daughter's would be "easier to do". I should've noted the red flag right there. My son's haircut was just a standard clipper (#2) on the back and sides and siccors on top. He doesn't have any crazy cowlick or special texture, but ok fine, I thought, maybe it was because my son was only 4 and she didn't do

Early last year we were disappointed with the North Brunswick location. The salon was mostly closed. Finally we heard it opened, and we have gone there since October 2025 a few times. We have had Aarti cut hair for me and my wife Rita. She is excellent at her work, very professional and curtious. We recommend her highly and hope the salon is able to keep her at this location.

Sandy is amazing.. I came into Great Clips not really sure what I wanted, and she took the time to listen, make suggestions, and absolutely nailed the cut. She was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience super comfortable. My haircut came out clean, sharp, and exactly how I pictured it. If you’re thinking about getting a cut here, definitely ask for Sandy!

My hair dresser did an amazing just, she did exactly what I wanted and I left feeling like myself again. The reason I gave 1 star is because of the hair washing station, literally left me with a creak in my neck and my neck hurts. Super uncomfortable. The sink and chair are so low that you're actually lying down inverted, not sitting up and just leaning your head back & down (the way the sink is set up in every salon) my first thought was how bad this must be for the hairdresser that has to do this everyday work day, bending down that way, it's very uncomfortable for them too. I am a loyal customer to numerous of your locations but this one, I don't recommend, it's hours later and my neck hurts. Great Clips, you need to do better. Do better for your customers and your employees.

Aarti is amazing! Not only she cut my son‘s hair perfectly but she did it while being diligent & timely. She rescued me from another person who was taking 45 minutes & still wasn’t done with my son’s hair. He was certainly junior or naive & I didn’t feel safe. Aarti is kind, efficient & definitely saved my son’s hair. Go see her as she’s wonderful & should be promoted.
