Great Clips

Great service. Rico seems to be the favorite amongst the male clients. My hair is thick, wavy, and very difficult to style well. So, when I find someone who does a great job, I will only see that person. I thought I was the only one, though, that would let others go ahead of them just to see Rico. I was wrong. One morning, it was a line of guys all adamant like me to have him cut their hair. No disrespect to the others who work there. They all do a great job too.

I showed the lady two reference photos of what I wanted, which was a medium length cut with light layers. I told her I had been trying to grow my hair out and just wanted a light trim. I now have layers that are shorter than my bangs on the back of my head. When I saw her make the first shortcut in the back, my heart instantly broke. I am absolutely devastated after trying to grow it out over a year and a half, and now I feel like im back to square one. The lady was nice, but she definitely didn't listen to what i wanted, and now i have to live with this. I was crying, pulling out of there. This was probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a haircut. I attached the reference photos i showed her and what my hair now looks like.

Mary gave me exactly what I wanted. I told her how I wanted my hair styled, she listened. We talked length a few times and she verified and we talked about my hair! And she cared! I went out of there with one of the best cuts of my life (62). I was beaming and proud and hope Mary was too! Kudos! I'll be back!

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE if using a coupon that Great Clips sends you. They will bait and switch you. Magically the coupon won't be valid at the location. The manager at this location REALLY needs customer service training. I would have fired her on the spot if I were an undercover shopper. The lady that cut my hair was fabulous. I think her name was Mary.

I think the most awful haircut I have ever received and I’m not picky. Maria was my hairstylist she was in a hurry hacked her way through in 10 minutes. I told her twice I wanted it on my ears and actually made her stop because she kept hacking away . I asked did she not understand what I asked for. Three times I told her she was cutting it too short but hack away she did . I should have just left after the second time I told her she was cutting too short !!! Then she gave me military sidewalls on behind one ear not both. Stay away from her if you want anything like a good haircut and if you keep your hair longer run!!
