Great Clips

The stylist who eventually did my hair (ash blonde with black and white Nike shoes, wearing glasses) seemed to absolutely dislike everything about me, she was standoffish, rude, and made me feel so unwelcome that I barely spoke. I wish I’d caught her name or understood what the problem was. Overall, I felt like the staff wanted nothing to do with me, and I will never return because of how uncomfortable the entire visit made me feel.

The manager does a really good job at running the place. I come there for male haircuts, and they are the cheapest and best value Because I get the promotional card that they have at the end of every year, I highly recommend it. This place Does male haircuts, but it’s not 100% equipped like a barbershop. They can’t do things like a straight razor or a foil shaver to make sure you get a nice crisp clean cut, but they do a decent job. There’s only about two people who cut my hair there because that’s the only two people I’m uncomfortable letting touch my hair; The other stylists just aren’t very friendly. I Had a bad experience with one of them when they got irate over me, critiquing a haircut.

Absolutely terrible service. The "stylist" didn't even introduce herself so I have no idea who even cut my hair. When I asked for a shampoo she scoffed. The "cut" is absolutely terrible. Chunky layers. I asked for texture she acted like I was stupid. I will never return there. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. Acted like cutting hair was a chore. Staring off into lala land while blow drying my hair. Complaining she's been working for 8 days straight. So unprofessional. Screwed my hair all up.

Took my daughter here this morning asked for simple layers. It looked like the stylist cut huge chunks out not blended. I've never seen layers look so bad in all my life and We always get layers and have for years it did not look good and I had to state that several times for her to fix it and she was condescending and rude. Just bc you have been cutting hair a long time doesn't mean you can't do a bad job. Everyone has bad days. Also had to ask her to give my daughter a mirror so she can see for herself. Also charged me for an adult cut for my child. Never going to this location again and I don't. Advise anyone else to either.

I was surprised to read about others' experiences there. I went to a salon in my hometown, and they royally messed up my hair. Ends were fried to a crisp, never finished the cut, and the salon did nothing to try to fix the situation. I went to Great Clips to get the ends cut off and shaping. She was fast, friendly and worked with me on how much to take off. I think in the end we took off around 3.5 inches. It's much better now! Thanks for being there when I needed you!
