I came in on 9/13/25 after months of contemplating a haircut and finally decided to go for a wolf cut. I showed the stylist—a young man with short dark hair who mentioned he used to have long hair—a photo clearly labeled as a wolf cut and explained exactly what I wanted. He said "okay," and I trusted that he understood. Halfway through the cut, another stylist mentioned giving her daughter a wolf cut to her client. I excitedly told him, “That’s what I’m doing!” He looked confused and said, “What?” I repeated, “I’m getting a wolf cut,” and he replied, “Uh, yeah… not really. Kind of.” I didn’t know what to say at that point. I had shown him a clear reference and communicated my expectations—so that response left me confused and disappointed. Jade did another excellent cut on my hair as well as putting my sister, who is a novice at hair salons, at ease for a trim. The whole staff is friendly, and I will definitely be back. Kudos!

Went this morning to have my 7 year old's hair cut. We've been going to Great Clips for several years and some stylists have been great but most of them not. Today Macy cut my son's hair and she was so rude to him. The only thing she said to my son who is autistic was, "Are you ready?" Macy did an ok job on my son's hair but the fact that she didn't talk with him, just pushed and pulled on his head to get him to look where he needed to. I had to finally tell her that she needs to give him directions, she didn't even acknowledge me, she just started telling him to look down, look down, I said look down. I shouldn't have even tipped her but I did. Macy sure didn't deserve it. What happened to good customer service? Your stylists sure need to learn about it! I will be taking my son somewhere

I went to cut my hair and half they passed the machine to the sides and the person who cut it didn't even remove the hair trimmed from my face and doesn't know how to cut hair or can't cut with scissors that's what my taper fade looks like

After years of receiving horrible haircuts from various salons, I am so relieved to have finally found a talented stylist who gives me a perfect cut every time. I work in retail and often have strangers ask me who cuts my hair. I send them to Sydney at the Alex Bell location with full confidence that they too will receive a great cut.
