Every time I come to this Great Clips location I have a great experience. Today was no exception. From the ease of using their mobile app and placing my name on the waitlist to the greeting I receive as soon as I walk through the front door, I don’t know why people would want to go to any other haircut location. Today I was greeted promptly by Deron who was expecting me and had my name on the welcome screen. She led me to her spot and knew exactly the haircut I wanted due to my past history that she read. It turns out she’s been working for this location for two years and has been with Great Clips for seven years! I have been a loyal Great Clips customer for many years, especially in Ohio, where I frequently receive shampoo and blow-dry services without issue. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Mission Ridge Great Clips in Manteca was extremely disappointing due to the conduct of the manager, Sherry. I came in simply requesting a wash and blow-dry. The stylist who assisted me with the shampoo was wonderful, professional, and very kind. However, the manager’s attitude made the entire visit uncomfortable. She was dismissive and repeatedly stated they “don’t offer styles,” despite them being listed on the menu, and continued to make excuses such as not having round brushes or proper tools. My friend went into to get a senior cut and was charged $20 then charged $40 for a blow dry! Why! What is happening? The African American woman did this. The owner needs to know. This was told to our huge ladies group and none of us will go there now. My friend’s daughter was there and refused to pay the $60, so the woman charged her for a shampoo $7. But she didn’t get a shampoo. The woman said she had to charge her something.

I visit the Mission Ridge location in Manteca, Ca. Derona was my stylist, and she did an awesome job. I’ll definitely be going back!
