Great Clips

After 24 days in hospital and rehab, my husband was desperate for a haircut. We're in driving distance of three Great Clips salons, but the one in Lampasas was the least busy. Hubby can't sit for long, so we headed to that shop. Trace was the beautician available, and was immediately aware and considerate of my husband's limitations. She kept him safe and quietly and pleasantly accommodated him. She also has 40 years of experience which showed in handsome and professional haircut she gave him. We'll be heading in back in a month or so, after making sure Trace is there that day, for another excellent haircut at a very reasonable price!

Seems like an easy ask… I wanted my hair much shorter but long enough to keep in a ponytail - I showed her where I set my ponytail on my head. I even said why not just cut it off while in the ponytail? Didn’t happen. Results : The back is so short (2”???) it won’t go in the ponytail holder and the front was way too long. Came home and chopped 3” off the front to get it how I asked her to do it. Okay, I now understand why I should go to a more expensive salon - lesson learned!

I don't have very much hair and it only takes them a few minutes to get me back out the door. All of the ladies are really nice and I enjoy getting my haircuts there.

Every time I go in here I’m told there is over an hour wait, there were three people on the list yesterday afternoon and one getting worked on while the other lady was standing around it’s almost like they don’t want to do anything unless you check in online and then you are still waiting when you get there. Last time I got a haircut here the lady that did it whined and moaned about people not giving her enough in tips. I guess I will have to find somewhere else to get my hair cut from now on.
