Great Clips

Today marks the second time Joni has cut my hair. I don’t want to go anywhere else. She’s great at what she does. My hair looks exactly how I want it every time. She asks questions and makes sure we’re both thinking the exact same thing before she makes any cuts. She verifies everything is looking good throughout the whole cut. I’m very picky with my hair and I will always be coming back as long as Joni is here. I highly recommend Joni specifically, but this establishment is also clean and the other staff seems very friendly as well.

I had just came to the kittanning location the manager cut my hair but cut is not even at all was not listening to me I had surgery and she kept touching my surgery spot very unprofessional and should know how to cut hair evenly not because your in a rush and as manager you should know the rules and actually care about the Clint and how they want things not this

Over the last year and a half I have become a regular customer of this location. There have been a few times where I have felt a little disregarded, but - hey, I’m practically bald and it’s pretty easy to spend 10 minutes getting me cleaned up. A few times I have been thrilled with the greeting from staff and the technician I’ve been assigned. But lately… the initial reception feels more like a number being yelled out at the DMV, and the staff chooses to spend more time chatting over the heads of clients about who is getting hired/fired than concentrating on the task at hand. My last cut was horrible! The technician “Ms. XX” never asked anything past what # of guide to use. She then proceeded to jam the clippers into my scalp. Twisting my head and neck with ZERO regard for my comfort.

I go up here all the time for my haircuts and it’s usually great until today. I went today to get my haircut for prom because it was chaos but I would honestly rather to have kept it than have this haircut. I asked half an inch off the top which was over 3 inches. The hairstylist who had curly dirty blonde hair and a flower sleeve tattoo kept insisting I cut my hair short because I’m a guy and I repeated time after time I like longer hair. She ended up making half of my hair in the front uneven and taking over an inch off that I did not want cut off. I do recommend going here but not with her as your stylist.

Took my brother to get his haircut here and I think they did a decent job but my brother didn’t like his haircut. And the service here was very rude. So much so that my brother and sister said that they were rude in the car ride home. Not the best experience I’ve had at a great clips. I was surprised because they usually have amazing service at every great clips I have been too. Also received terrible service when I asked if offer military discount because every other location I have been to offers it.
