Great Clips

Service was very quick. Did online check in. I was sitting down for cut in about 5 minutes. Haircut was fast and good. Good conversation.

I decided to try Great Clips for a haircut. Unfortunately, this visit turned out to be a disaster. Based on what I went through, I strongly recommend that anyone who does not want to face hostility or humiliation for a paid haircut should avoid Great Clips. On the afternoon of August 16, 2025, I visited the Great Clips shop at Kapolei Commons, 4459 Kapolei Parkway, Ste 102, Kapolei, Hawaii. I asked Krista to cut my hair. She assured me she knew how to do the “Gentleman” cut I requested, explaining that she was the shop manager with seven years of experience. However, when she finished and asked if I was satisfied, I looked in the mirror and saw that my hair was nothing like the style I had asked for. Normally when you leave a salon- you leave feeling beautiful. This was the opposite. Horrible cuts for my girls. The stylist did not know how to cut my daughter’s hair texture. Never used any products, just combed it and brushed it. I could have done the job myself. Horrible. Not going back.

Extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by one of your hairstylists. On a previous visit, we were in a time crunch and unable to see our regular stylist. We showed the stylist a photo of a combover hairstyle, but my son ended up with a Mohawk. We were very disappointed with the outcome but still had to pay for the service. Unfortunately, we encountered the same stylist again on a recent visit. We wanted to wait for our regular stylist, but she had to leave. Despite being next in line, the stylist chose to see another customer and was very rude when we questioned this. I am very concerned about this stylist's lack of professionalism and skill. I don't understand how she can still be employed when she is unable to cut hair properly or follow simple instructions.

Nice staff, honored online coupons, reasonable wait for walk-in. For service, my neck could have had a better shave job. The shopping center parking is busy and tight but accessible.
