Great Clips

This is a five star review coming to you from the perspective as a mom! (I asked Haider if I could post a photo of him. He said he was okay with it.) My son is three - almost four. He never had an issue with haircuts until 6 months ago. He had a panic attack and wasn't able to get him to ever go back to the salon. But yesterday I asked him if he was interested. He said yes, but he wanted a sucker. So I promised him I would get him one if he was good. I called Great Clips in Fridley and talked to Eric on the phone. I knew they were an hour away from closing, but I asked them if they could squeeze us in. Eric said they could do it if I made it before 4:30pm. We made it with just 5 minutes to spare. There is a stylistic talent here. She has been cutting my hair for long while, and I have always had a wonderful experience being in her chair. Her natural ability, knack, and attention to detail, while understanding what you’re personally seeking with a certain look, is unparalleled. A true talent is an understatement. The skills that she possesses, flow naturally and make you feel comfortable as your cut takes shape. A couple of my absolute favorite qualities are ever present as well. She’s dependable, and consistent. You can always count on her. I worry at times when we find wonderfully unique, born talents such as these, how long they will be in shops such as this one. Got my haircut from Henry a couple of weeks ago and it was a great experience. Very professional and personable. He listened to my requests and checked in every now and then to make sure the haircut was right. He alsp recommended some products to give my hair more volume!

I was the only one there last night (there were two stylists) and they weren’t closing for about 45 minutes. Despite that, I received the fastest haircut in human history. Needless to say the “stylist” did a terrible job. Won’t be going back to this location.

Would not recommend. Based on other reviews, it seems like your experience depends on the barber. The barber I got seemed undertrained. The haircut was extremely rough, leaving my scalp sore and made me uncomfortable throughout. Worst haircut I’ve received from a Great Clips location by far.
