Great Clips

I was waiting in my car, while my high-school–aged son was inside the salon accompanied by my adult daughter. During the visit, my son overheard a racist comment made by the stylist about him while she was speaking to a coworker. This behavior was completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. The stylist then refused to provide the haircut, claiming that my son’s hair needed to be “cleaned at home first” before they could proceed. This was never communicated at the start and could have been handled respectfully and professionally. Despite no haircut being provided at all, my daughter was forced to pay $29 before leaving. No service, no consultation, and no apology were offered. This incident caused significant discomfort and distress to my children. I am deeply disappointed by both

We were absolutely humiliated here today. My brother went here for a cut and walked out with only his hair brushed and a little cut off. We showed the hairstylist an inspo pic and she confirmed that she can do it. But then only brushed my brother’s hair and had us pay $29 for absolutely nothing but humiliation and comments on his hair. She said “next time you want a big boys haircut, take care of your hair”. And before going there he had washed his hair and brushed it, so it doesn’t make any sense. This was a very disappointing experience at great clips and honestly I felt like I wasted money and time on nothing.

Person who cut my hair has clearly never seen a cowlick in their entire life, I went in for a trim before a very important event and am now stuck with hair that even smothered in high hold product will not come close to laying flat. I will be finding a new place to get haircuts from now on that hires people who know what they're doing.

Yo Marcella is awesome!! She gave me a perfect haircut, great conversation, and somehow I lost my Visa. She was so cool about it, she was just like "yeah, it happens...all good"...good ppl and a good cut. Shout out to you Marcella.
