walked in and went to the counter to check in just to find out after sitting for awhile that i was not properly checked in, no big deal went to get checked in again. it was for my son haircut. the lady seemed dry with a slight attitude. i informed he might not sit in the booster as i always have him in my lap and it works better, she stated to try it. as she was combing his hair he was stopping her, she just said “he won’t let me” and told me to get him and turned around walking off. no other solutions provided. it’s like she didn’t even want to cut his hair to begin with. didn’t see if someone else would cut it OR me putting him on my lap as i suggested at the beginning he wouldn’t sit int he booster. customer service sucks and need to become a standard again. at least give an alternative

I got a deal for $9.99 for a haircut.. so I'll take that anytime because all it is is a number for all the way around my head, they don't have to do nothing special for me! The employees were really nice, although I'm the only the second guy in here and they've already taken the other guy and there's two other ones just sitting there so I don't know if they're on break but I'm actually on a time crunch and so I hate to see two people sitting there, but I don't know the situation so I don't know if they're on break or whatever, I don't know the situation but I do know that I'm on a time crunch.. I mean there may be some people that have a online check in that would go before me so... But everyone was really nice and kind and I got a $9.99 haircut so I can't really complain.

My children got hair cuts today, the lady that cut my youngest son's hair (2nd chair on the left) was super sweet and very helpful. The lady who cut my older son (he's 9) felt the need to talk crap about my son to the stylist next to her loud enough for him to hear. It's cool if you think you deserve to say something about someone but when my child hears it and feels badly we have an issue. Older lady, 2nd chair on the right, with the ankle tattoo and crap attitude, making my child feel that way isn't OK and you need to take a lesson in customer service. She also tried to tell me I owed ANOTHER $32 because their system showed it, I had a receipt and she still wanted to argue. I wish I'd known how you made my kid feel before I tipped you. I will NEVER step foot in GREAT CLIPS of Calera, Al again. I arrived at 6:34 and was refused service for 2 shampoo’s. I stated shampoo and go!!! Shampoos are only 10-15 minutes. I have usually go every 2 week there. The problem is you took to 3 additional clients after (men). I’ve seen the hair cuts take longer than my services several time. I don’t know the stylist but she ruined my experience for them. Considering that I brag and have referred 5-7 people in addition to my family of 5. Oh and I give the tip equal to my service on each head. NEVER again. If you were too tired to shampoo then maybe stay home. Every one’s schedule won’t allow them to arrive over 30 minutes for a 15 minute service. Passed PISSED is what I am

Went in to trim sides and cut half an inch off the top. left with top of the head half shaved and 2 inches off the front. Definitely not what I asked for will not be returning
