I don’t typically do negative reviews, but I’ve never been physically assaulted during a haircut before either! As it was happening I was trying to understand what was going on, was I being punked, or was I imagining this? I left there in a daze completely bewildered at what had just transpired. I had red marks on the side of my face and in various spots where fingers and clippers had been dug in and slammed into the my scalp multiple times! My ears were raked over by the comb constantly. My hair was yanked and pulled with what can only be described as the dullest scissors in all of Texas. My head was forcibly held and moved to different position without any communication. Used the Great Clips app to check-in online. App is easy to navigate and user friendly. Walked into the Bulverde Retail Park Great Clips and was immediately greeted and advised to take a seat. No wait. This Great Clips location was clean and staff were very friendly. Loretta, the hairstylist took the time to cut my hair and did an amazing job!

Update - called just to report the concern and NO ONE returned my call!!! I want nothing other than to share the issue and NOPE! No response! The absolute worst cut I have ever had - by the time I saw that they had done it was too late and now I’m stuck with it until it grows out! What you see below is the best I can do. My regular person was out that day. I showed another person what it normally looks like and now this! Now I have to find a new place because I can’t go back. I see why people go to one person for years. I know everyone who sees me is thinking WTH happened???

Used the online check-in and when I got there they took a walk in. I had to find another salon and was late for a meeting. When I contacted the store, they asked for more details, which I did and then wanted me to call them. After numerous emails, texts and telling me that I didn’t understand the self check in process, I didn’t want to waste anymore time on this. I will never go to this location again.

Took both my kiddos here and they had a great experience. Loretta made my daughter feel like a princess and my son got his hair just right.
