Great Clips

I went to Great Clips yesterday for the first time. I got a shampoo and hair cut. My stylist Kelly was awesome and listened to what I wanted done. I am extremely happy with my hair. I highly recommend Great Clips. Their customer service is just as nice and friendly.

10/10 recommend for a child haircut! The ladies that work there were so kind and patient with my 2 year old son! She did an amazing job cutting his hair while being a little wiggle butt. Not once did she get upset. My son has 2 wild cowlicks and his hair looks so good. She did an amazing job! They also keep stickers, candy and cute little lasers gun to help grab the kids attention. Will be getting his hair cut from now on.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience we had with Angie at Great Clips. I brought my son in and showed a clear photo of the haircut I wanted. The style was simple. I asked for the sides to be shaved down with some hair left on top. Instead of using the reference as a guide, Angie immediately started arguing with me about the texture of his hair. I understand his hair is not exactly like the photo. I was not expecting a perfect match. I was just trying to show the general look we were going for. Rather than listening or offering any kind of solution, she came across as defensive and dismissive. It felt like she was more focused on proving her point than giving us what we asked for. Never went to the appt that I scheduled online because after an hour it automatically takes you off the waiting list!! Was supposed to send a text but never did! They want you to sit "in-shop" and wait for an hour! Like, really? Isn't that why you make an appt? So you don't have to wait? Made no sense to me!
