One of the best barbers in St Louis and very affordable ask 4 Rico

My usual barber disappeared temporarily, so I went searching for someone reasonable and local, and after some bumping around, ran into Grand Center. It's a classic, cluttered, no-frills barber shop, exactly what I wanted. The barbers will talk, or not, as you prefer, and mine did an excellent job on a long-overdue trim! It is $25 for a men's cut, which is a lot for me -- my usual charges $11 -- but they definitely earn their pay in here. One other note: the picture shown by Maps is of the side of the long building in which they are located, so don't let the photo turn you off. It's easy to find.

DO NOT ( I repeat ) DO NOT GO TO THIS BARBERSHOP! For those who read these reviews, do not go here. The barber in the back left corner cut my lining off and cut my sides BALD! I asked for just a normal taper fade! I promise you DO NOT waste your money going here! I put this on my own mothers life, this barbershop is not worth it!

Curt has been my barber for more than 20 years. He is the one of the best, if the best barbers around. I have been more than pleased with his work. When I first entered the shop, there were about 4 or 5 barbers, none of them I knew or had cut my hair. I sat there about an hour or so just looking at the haircuts the barbers gave. And they asked to cut my hair, I said no, I am just looking. After the observation period, I noticed that Curt's customers had the best hair cuts leaving the shop.
